Northwest of Costa Rica, one of the most famous places for Sport Fishing

The Gulf of Papagayo in the Northwest of Costa Rica is one of the most famous places for Sports Fishing in the world. Limited to the north by the Bat Islands and the south by the Catalinas Islands, the Gulf is home to an incredible quantity and variety of fish. There is an abundance of Pacific Sailfish, Marlin, Roosterfish and other varieties of billfish. The Gulf of Papagayo also boasts pelagic fish variety including Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado. Also, big Cubera Snapper, Grouper, Cabrilla, and Jack Crevalle, among others. The full day tour allows you to fish different zones for 8 hours. Bottom Fishing and trolling methods will be used depending on the type of fish you are interested in catching, seasons and sea conditions.


Recommendations: Sunblock, hat, camera, swimming suits and binoculars.
